1. Click Start | Run and type cmd or command.
2. In the command line, make sure that you are in the root directory of drive C.
For Example: You should see in the command line C:
(Change the c root directory if the database is installed on different logical drive).
3. Type the following in the command line
osql –E
Press enter
use qcdao (or the database name if different from qcdao)
Press enter
go
Press enter
update lablot set expireddate = 'date is entered here’ where lotID = ' lot id is entered here’
Press enter
go
Press enter
You should see the number of rows affected.
