You will need to contact your local Bio-Rad office for software activation keys and subscriptions. You can update your license in two ways, both of which require you to have administrative privileges to the computer.
The first method is called the "Get Key" method. In order use this method you will need internet access in order to download the activation key.
1. Open Unity Real Time 2.0 and login.
2. Click on the Tools menu, Security and Update License.
3. Click on the Get License button.
The second method to update your license is getting the actual activation key through email. This method used for user's who have no internet access or would need an IT person to grant them temporary administrative privileges.
1. You will receive an email from "ULM" with the subject line "Unity Activation Key". The email will contain an attachment "key.xml".
2. Save the attachment in your C:\Program Files\Bio-Rad Laboratories\Unity Real Time\License folder.
3. Open Unity Real Time 2.0 and login.
4. Click on the Tools menu, Security, and Update License.
5. Click on the button with the ellipses.
6. Browse to C:\Program Files\Bio-Rad Laboratories\Unity Real Time\License folder.
7. Select the key.xml file then click on Open.
8. Click on the Upload button.
