Why am I compared to the method group not the peer group and seeing a warning message?

If the peer group consists of 8 labs or fewer, the comparator automatically goes to the method group.  However, since method groups typically contain data from other instruments and/or reagents that are different to your configuration, this may result in differing data outcomes.  These differing data outcomes may be significant enought to generate warning messages.  We always recommend comparison to the peer group first, if there is a warning for the method group comparison refer to your laboratory's procedures for addressing, although corrective actions may be limited,
